Other workshops to watch out for:

  • Flat tire workshop
  • Basic road bike maintenance workshop
  • The ABCs of Bicycle Randonneuring

Trek Spring Sale

Spring SaleLet’s be honest, some models and colours sell better than others and manufactures need to shift merchandise.

Trek has taken a look at their 2016 stock and has lowered the price on lots of different models.

See this page for a partial list.

If you’re interested in seeing ALL of the bikes that have gone on sale, please download this pdf.

Big Summer for Cycling in Switzerland

This year’s TDS runs alongside our own Lite Tour across Switzerland.

It’s possible to see the pros and feel the excitement, all while doing your own tour across Switzerland.

No, you don’t need to be hard-core cyclist yourself to participate. This is our LITE TOUR.

You’ll be doing around 50 kilometers per day on flat roads. For more information on combining the Tour de Suisse with the Lite Tour, click here.

The Tour de France (Late July)

This year’s tour is coming to Switzerland.

See the world’s biggest annual sporting event up close while doing your own tour of Switzerland.

We’ll help you make the most of your time. See here for more details.

If you’re a fan of Fabian Cancellera the event is extra special: Fabian doing the TDF in his hometown before he goes into retirement.

Stelvio Open Bike Day (Late August)

Although there are literally hundreds of cycling events in Switzerland this summer, we find this one especially interesting.

At 2,760 meters, the Stelvio is one of the highest passes in the world open to traffic.  On August 27th, cyclists climb 1,900 meters with 48 hair-pin turns.

The roads will be blocked to regular traffic and approximately 10,000 cyclists will begin their slow ascent from Italy into Switzerland.

Although Bike Switzerland is not formally organising anything around this event, we’d be happy to assist with logistics and bicycle rental.
