New Road Bikes in the House

TDA RoadWe are replacing the Trek 720 touring bike that was in our fleet last year with the Swiss-assembled “Tour des Alpes”.

This bike is exactly like our Tour des Alpes hybrid, but with road handlebars, shifters and brakes.

It’s an improvement on the Trek 720: hydraulic brakes and better wheels. All bikes are still equipped with Shimano 105.

Riders on the Challenge and Lite Tours will be able to choose between the hybrid or road version.

Cyclists doing the Alpine or Jura tour can choose between these two bikes or pay a supplement for a Trek Emonda or Domane.

More information about our road bikes here.

Swiss Tourism Promotes Road Cycling

The national tourism bureau has launched an international campaign to promote road cycling in Switzerland.

The campaign includes promotional films, brochures and presence at international tourism and bicycle shows.
