More Geneva Women Road Cyclists

Do you like to ride, but don’t always like the break-neck pace of our regular Saturday morning training rides ?
We’ll be introducing a series of medium-paced Saturday morning rides to begin April 26th to complement the regular Saturday morning fast-paced rides.
The first of these “ more social “ rides will be lead by Spin Geneva’s own Natalie Carter, while the training rides will be lead by amateur racer and instructor, Matt Gain.

Both rides are free and open to men and women with road bikes
If you don’t have a road bike, we’d be happy to rent you a bike for the ride. Check out the rental possiblities here.

As before, the training rides will be between 60 and 80 km at around 30 to 35km per hour and climbs of 800+ meters are not uncommon.

The new social rides will be between 40 and 60km at 25 to 30km per hour with occassional small and medium climbs. Rides include a coffee/pastry stop, so bring some money.

We’re often unsure of the itinerary until the day of the ride, so riders will need to show up at the start to get full details.
All participants should meet at the shop at 9:15 on Saturday in order to get a punctual 9:30 start.
You’ll find a map by clicking here.
Please come with your road bikes ready to roll, helmet, sparetube/tools, two filled water bottles and clothes in case weather turns chilly or wet.

Any changes or cancellations can be found on our calendar:

And don’t forget about our Thursday evening “Social Rides” leaving from the shop at 18h15. These rides tend to be similar to the soft Saturday ride except shorter in length.
